Studio Policies

Thank you for choosing Mint Room Studios, we kindly ask all guests to adhere to the following guidelines to ensure everyone’s experience is smooth and enjoyable.

Please treat our studio with the same care you would your own. Your cooperation in maintaining a professional and respectful environment is greatly appreciated.

After your session, we request that you leave the rooms in a clean and tidy condition. This not only reflects positively on your team but also helps us maintain a pristine studio for all our clients.

Your adherence to these guidelines is crucial for the continued success of Mint Room Studio. Failure to comply may result in loss of future access or additional cleaning fees. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in making Mint Room Studio a welcoming space for all.

Mint Room Studios is located at 7900 NE 2nd Ave Unit 202, Miami, FL 33138.

Parking

Garage parking is available on the second floor on a first-come, first-served basis. All guests must validate their parking before leaving their car. Please ask an attendant for a coupon code at reception. Codes are limited and first-come, first-served.

Street parking along 80th street is also available via the Pay by Phone app.

Mint Room Studios is not liable for any parking tickets.

Accessing studios

Please use the intercom system to call ‘Mint Room’ under ‘M’ for building access. Then, proceed to Unit 202 to check in and complete the general liability waiver.

We highly recommend arriving 15-20 minutes early so that you can validate parking, check in with our attendant and get Wi-Fi details.

Elevator

There are two elevators are located in the lobby.

Is there an attendant on site?

Our friendly studio attendants are eager to assist you with any inquiries! You can easily find them behind the reception desk in Unit 202.

If you need us to adjust the room temperature or borrow a steamer, please let our attendants know and they will be happy to assist.

Restrooms

Public restrooms are located in the 1st floor and 2nd floor building hallways.

Loading / Unloading

For loading and un-loading, we highly recommend driving up the garage ramp to the second level, which provides direct access to our studio, thereby avoiding the need to use the elevator.

Customers are responsible for their own loading and unloading due to liability concerns.

General Questions

What if I damage or break something?

In the unlikely event that any items are broken or damaged during your booking, please inform our on-site attendant immediately.  Please note that broken or damaged items will be charged on-site or invoiced accordingly. To avoid any unnecessary charges, we encourage you to report any issues as soon as possible.

Our on-site attendants check the studios before and after each booking to ensure that everything is in good condition, but your prompt reporting is crucial in helping us maintain our standards and provide the best possible experience for all of our clients

 

Lost and found

Please ensure to bring all your belongings into the studio with you, our staff is not responsible for any items left in the common area or in studio rooms.

If we find anything left behind, we will keep it in our lost and found box for 30 days. You can call to speak to the attendant on duty if you believe an item may be in out lost and found. 

Bookings and Cancellations

How do I make a booking?

At Mint Room Studios, we make booking your photography session easy and convenient with our online scheduling system available at mintroommiami.com Our online calendars are regularly updated to reflect the latest availability and pricing of our services.

Please note that our online bookings are strictly for photography services only. If you’re planning on hosting an event at Mint Room Studios or shooting video content with sound, kindly send us an email at [email protected] for pricing and availability.

What is inside my booking confirmation emails?

Once you have booked your photography session, you will receive several emails from us. The first email, “Your Booking Order and Payment Details,” is your official invoice with Mint Room Studios, which you should keep for your records.

The second email you’ll receive is the “Booking Confirmed – Order Number XXX” email, which confirms the details of the room(s) you have booked, including our studio rules, check-in information, and building access code. You will receive this email for each room that you book.

If this is your first time booking with Mint Room Studios, you will receive a third email titled “Your New Customer Account,” which contains your user details and password. If you cannot find this email in your inbox, please check your spam folder. We recommend that you log in at mintroommiami.com/appointments to verify that your appointments are listed in your account. You can also use this account to cancel your appointments if required.

Can I book multiple rooms or the entire studio space?

Mint Room Studios provides the flexibility to book individual rooms or multiple studios for your convenience. Our online scheduling system allows you to easily select and reserve multiple studios based on your preferred dates and times, with a 1 hour minimum in each studio.

If you wish to book the entire studio, kindly get in touch with our Operations team at [email protected], and they will assist you in making the necessary arrangements.

When do I get access to the studio if I have already made a reservation?

Access to the studios is granted according to the start time of your booking.

To access the studio you have booked, simply arrive at the scheduled time and date. We recommend arriving 15-20 minutes before your session start time so that our on-site attendant can assist you with any setup or questions you may have. Your booking guarantees you access to the studio during your reserved time, so please ensure you arrive promptly to make the most of your session.

Can I get my hair and makeup done at the studio?

We’re thrilled to announce that our makeup stations will be opening later this year! In the meantime, you can rent a foldable table and chair within our studio space, available on a first-come, first-served basis.

How can I extend my booking?

Your bookings can be extended online through your Mint Room Account 24 hours prior to your booking time: mintroommiami.com/appointments by cancelling your existing booking and rebooking with new start and end times. You are required to re-book this way if you wish to take advantage of our weekday discounts which are based on the total number of hours booked at one time.

  • Log in to your account through the above link (if you do not remember registering or forgot your password, please click through the forgot password button).
  • Cancel your existing booking to receive a full studio credit which you can access automatically at checkout once you are logged in to your account.
  • Select your newly desired date and time (make sure the correct option is selected to use your studio credit instead of the credit card on file).

Please reach out to our Studio Operations team via email at [email protected] for any extension requests within 24 hours of your booking time.

 

How can I reschedule my boooking?

Your bookings can be rescheduled online through your Mint Room Account 24 hours prior to your booking time: mintroommiami.com/appointments.

  • Log in to your account through the above link (if you do not remember registering or forgot your password, please click through the forgot password button).
  • Cancel your existing booking to receive a full studio credit which you can access automatically at checkout once you are logged in to your account.
  • Reselect your newly desired date and time (Make sure the correct option is selected to use your studio credit instead of the credit card on file).
How can I cancel my booking?

Your bookings can be cancelled online through your Mint Room Account 24 hours prior to your booking time: mintroommiami.com/appointments. Please note that your studio credit does not expire. 

Step 1: Log in to your account through the above link (if you do not remember registering or forgot your password, please click through the forgot password button).

Step 2: Cancel your booking to receive a full studio credit which you can access automatically at checkout once you are logged in to your account. (Make sure the correct option is selected to use your studio credit instead of the credit card on file).

Please note:

  • Cancelling a booking with less than 24 hours notice can result in a day of cancellation. Please email us at [email protected] if you are trying to cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice.
  • No-show appointments will not receive any studio credit

 

Do you provide refunds?

We do not issue refunds as per our Studio Policy. In order to proceed with a booking, there will be a “no refunds” consent at checkout. 

We do, however, have a very flexible studio credit. You are able to claim your full credit through your Mint Room Account 24hrs prior to your booking time

What happens if there is a hurricane and I can’t make it to the studio?

We understand that unexpected weather changes can sometimes disrupt plans, and we want to make sure our customers are taken care of. Therefore, we are pleased to offer full studio credit for any day of cancellations affected by severe weather conditions or other natural disaster events.  If you need to make arrangements due to these circumstances, please don’t hesitate to contact our studio operations team at [email protected]

PETS

Is Mint Room Studios pet friendly?

We welcome pets at all of our locations!  

How do I bring a pet to Mint Room?

We ask that you email [email protected] if you would like to bring a pet to your photoshoot.

What is the pet fee?

In order to keep the studio free of allergens, we spend extra time cleaning the studios and removing pet hair after any photoshoots including a pet.  Cleaning fee is $50+tax.

There will be a $50 pet fee (up to 2 pets) associated with this request and a $300 preauthorized hold on your credit card.  A preauthorized hold will be collected upon arrival and then released within 2-5 business days, minus the pet fee, and any damages incurred.
